Provincial Capitol employees of Kalinga were shocked when they came to office morning of July 14, 2011 as they saw everywhere a yellow line bearing "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS". The provincial capitol was pillaged! The Landbank's ATM machine and the Provincial Treasury's Vault were smashed and destroyed. The perpetrators were not able to open the vaults and no cash amounts were taken. The tools used were left and obviously they are fresh from the hardware. The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) have already finished investigating area.
